iPhone Firmware 1.1.3 Available for Download

iPhone Firmware 1.1.3 is now Available to download. Apple officially released this firmware. A guided tour of the new features is available from Apple's website. The firmware re-locks the iPhone.

Release of this firmware update has caused a trojan scare. Adds new features such as enhanced Google Maps.

The update should not wipe any data off the iPhone.

iPhone Firmware 1.1.3 Features:
+ Google Maps “Locate Me”. Maps with pseudo GPS that uses cellphone towers for your location.
+ Web-clips. Essentially bookmarked Web sites accessible on your home screen. Quick and dirty.
+ Homescreen customization. Customize your home screen, moving around icons as they wiggle.
+ Multiple-contact SMS text message support. You can send txt messages to more than one person now.
+ iTunes movie rentals and movie chapter navigation
+ Smaller updates: Gmail now uses IMAP and you can view lyrics to songs.

iPhone firmware features Google maps with location, up to 9 total home screens, Webclips, the ability to SMS multiple recipients, and more. That more being lyrics, subtitles, languages, chapters, in your iPod media. To customize a screen you just touch and hold the icon for a couple of seconds and it begins to "shake."
