BlackBerry 9000 with HSDPA + WiFi. This is the follow-up to the last post, RIM confirmed new 3.5G BlackBerry (BlackBerry 9000?), The device is curvy and sleek, something that can't really be said for the rest of RIM's smartphone lineup. The BlackBerry 9000 is an improvement over current BlackBerry design, it still lacks the stylish "energy" that was widely expected from the BlackBerry 9000.
According to boygeniusreport, BlackBerry 9000 Specifications:
# 624MHz processor, 480×320 screen, GPS, Wi-Fi, 3G, etc.
# The web browser flies. "Loads web pages in 3-4 seconds."
# The BlackBerry 9000 in its current state runs OS 4.5
# Early launch date was slated for a consumer AT&T launch on June 18th.
# The battery lasts around 4 hours with straight phone calling. With Wi-Fi on, (only got a little less than two hours browsing the web)
# They say the device either has 256MB of internal memory or 128MB.
BlackBerry 9000 comes with revised slide-deck interface which is a refreshing take on RIM's tired menu/icon setup. More pizazz would have been nice, as would a larger display, but with HSDPA, WiFi, and GPS in tow, the BlackBerry 9000 should do just fine in the enterprise market.
