Spain will get the 3G iPhone on June 18th, to celebrate the grand opening of the Telefonica megastore in Madrid, bodes well for US availability of the 3G iPhone before June 18. That puts US 3G iPhone availability solidly in mid-June - hopefully.

Gizmodo cites the same unidentified source as saying that beginning with the arrival of a 3G model, the Apple handset will longer be available at a fixed price point in some countries.
