RIM working on LTE BlackBerry handset? RIM has recently decided to create a work team that’s been specifically entrusted with the task of creating a 4G BlackBerry using the LTE standard. LTE (Long-Term-Evolution) is also known as 4G network technology that promises data downlink speeds of up to 300 Mbit/s (it is the heir to 3G and 3.5G networks).
2011 is the year when LTE is generally expected to be available with the major carriers of the world.
