Toshiba TG01 for Spain and Japan announced

NTT DoCoMo in Japan and Telefonica in Spain announced that a Windows Mobile handset model made by Toshiba Corporation will be introduced by both companies in their respective Japanese and Spanish markets in June to July as part of a plan for various joint undertakings by the two mobile operators.

DOCOMO will sell the handset in Japan as the docomo PRO series(TM) T-01A (officially announced on May 19) and Telefnica will sell it in Spain as the TG01.

As you may already know the Toshiba TG01 features Windows Mobile 6.1 OS, quad-band GSM, HSPA, WiFi, Bluetooth, GPS, 4.1-inch WVGA (480×800 pixels) touchscreen, 256MB of RAM, 512MB of ROM, 3.2 megapixel camera with autofocus, 9.9mm thick.
