Nokia has announced a new 3G slider phone, the Nokia 6700 slide. It comes with a 5 megapixel camera with Carl Zeiss optics, 2.2 inch screen (240x320 pixels), quadband GSM/EDGE support, triband WCDMA (3.5G) support, and 860 mAh battery. There will be a WCDMA 900/1900/2100 MHz version, presumably for Europe, and a 850/1900/2100 MHz version, perfect for the USA. Unfortunately, it has no GPS, neither WiFi.
Nokia 6700 Slide is expected to become available in the first quarter of 2010, and the retail price before taxes and subsidies is anticipated to be EUR 160. It will come with a choice of six fresh and vivid colors - pink, red, petrol blue, aluminum, lime and purple.
