BlackBerry Messenger (BBM) 6.0 released

RIM has released BlackBerry Messenger 6.0. What's new in BBM 6.0? One of the new features is BBM Social connectivity that lets your favorite 3rd-party apps connect with BlackBerry Messenger profiles/contacts.

Highlights of the new BBM 6.0 include:
+ Works with BBM connected apps.
+ Chat with contacts (or other BBM users) from connected apps
+ Share your app activities and achievements on your BBM profile
+ Host or join events or games (Note: You can search for BBM connected apps in the App World storefront by typing “BBM” in the search field)
+ Enhanced Location Sending with customized search and sharing
+ Send events and appointments to BBM contacts
+ Draft BBM message support
+ Updated support for sending links, podcasts, location in BBM Groups
