AT&T American Idol Framerz. AT&T just launched a new service to allow its customers to frame their favorite pictures within an American Idol setting and receive the finished product on their phone via MMS.

The so called "American Idol Framerz" has a frame for each of the top 12 contestants, as well as other Idol-branded images, allowing users with MMS-enabled phones to share some fun.

To "participate", simply send an MMS with the selected photo to 5454, or uploaded it from AT&T's American Idol web page. Once successfully uploaded, the images can be resized and moved within the frames, as needed, either on the Web or the phone. Finally, when you tweak the image, you can send it to another MMS-enabled phone or on any email address.

American Idol Framerz are $0.99 each to create, and only standard messaging rates apply when forwarding them to friends and family.
