Microsoft Silverlight 1.0 for Windows Mobile in Q2 2008

Microsoft Silverlight 1.0 for Windows Mobile in Q2 2008. According to the Silverlight Mobile fact page, a first Developer CTP (Community Technology Preview) of Silverlight for Mobile will be available in 2nd quarter of 2008 targeting Windows Mobile 6.

Similarly to the desktop, the mobile version of Silverlight will also take the form of a browser plug-in but featuring Silverlight 1.0 only (Microsoft just released Silverlight 2.0 for desktop computers).

It's not yet known, how Microsoft will distribute Silverlight for Mobile and if it will be available for ODMs and therefore for ROM updates only or as stand-alone application which enhances Internet Explorer Mobile on its own.
