ZTE C78, C79 CDMA Cell Phones. From the previous post, you might have heard that Chinese ZTE wants to be a Global Top-5 Handset Vendor. Recently at CTIA 2008 Las Vegas, The Chinese ZTE announced two new CDMA phones which's not so special, C78 and C79 series. The ZTE C78 and ZTE C79 music phone seems to be targeted for low-end market.

ZTE C78 handset is an affordable “candy bar”-shaped phone equipped with a VGA camera and capabilities for multimedia messaging and Internet browsing. It also enables hands-free conversation through wireless headsets supporting Bluetooth.

ZTE C79 is a full-featured and easy-to-use flip phone which includes an MP3 music player, 1.3 megapixel camera, stereo Bluetooth, a 2 inch high resolution screen and support for MicroSD removable memory cards.

ZTE C78 and ZTE C79 pricing and availability is not known yet, but considering they use CDMA radio, these two may land on Alltel, Sprint, Verizon, or Virgin Mobile USA. Stay tuned.
