Philips 198, 199 low-end Phones for Europe, Asia. Philips announced two new mobile phones, Philips 198 and 199 model. The cellphones are targeting the lower end of the market in Asia and Europe. Both devices (Philips 198 and 199) sport miniUSB connectivity for charging and data transfer.

The lower-number 198 model comes with the FM Radio. In addition to the lack of features, the phones are small, measuring 99×42x13.5 mm and weighing only 65 grams. Philips 198 and 199 should be available in a few months for about $62.
