iPhone SDK shows video playlists, portrait-mode video playback. The latest iPhone SDK build has revealed video playlists and portrait-mode video playback. It appears that videos will be easily playable in portrait or landscape orientations, using data from the iPhone's accelerometer.
While portrait-view video playback has been possible with Quicktime embedded videos through the iPhone Safari browser, it seems that the iPhone 2.0 Firmware OS will allow for any and all videos to be played in either portrait or landscape orientations.
