ModeLabs' Bluetrek Metal - The thinnest Bluetooth Headset in the World. ModeLabs just announced a new Bluetooth headset which is claimed as the world's thinnest Bluetooth headset. At just 4mm of thickness with weight that doesn't exceed 5.5 grams. Interestingly, the size will not limit the functionality of the device, its battery can work for up to 5 hours in talk mode and more than 7 days in sleep mode.

Bluetrek Metal is part of the Bluetooth products line developed by ModeLabs Group: the Bluetrek Bizz (3 in 1 USB headset), the Duo Stereo (mono and stereo headset) or even the X3 (water, shock and dust proof).

Those products are already distributed by leading mobile phones retailers, and well known by consumers. The Bluetrek Metal launch illustrates the renewal of ModeLabs Group’s line of accessories, and more generally the reorganization of its Bluetooth business in terms of engineering and sales. It also reaffirms the expertness and know-how of the group in that area.

Bluetrek Metal will be available everywhere for 39 EUR (aluminium black+silver version) and 49 EUR (silver stainless steel version) in France in June, and in Europe as well.
