Shoes + WiFi detector

Shoes + WiFi detector. A new prototype shoe called "A Step in the Right Direction" that could detect WiFi hot-spots where the users are walking. it has integrated electronics, including a pressure sensor in the sole to start scans, LED indicators in the top.

The result is relayed to the wearer through a line of three LEDs which represent the signal strength of the nearest node within a 50 meter area.
