My wife and I use our Palm Treo 755p smartphones with Palm Comfort Plus hard-wired car kits, which are installed in both our cars. Recently, my Treo malfunctioned and had to be replaced. Verizon replaced my Treo with one that had its firmware "upgraded" to version 1.08. As a result, my Treo no longer works with the car kit, and neither Palm nor Verizon are willing to do anything to address the issue. Does anyone know how I may change the firmware in my Treo from version 1.08 backward to 1.06?
