New 4G Long Term Evolution (LTE) technology could deliver 'super-fast' speeds on the move. "Tests show LTE can produce speeds up to 186 Mbps," said GSMA director of technology Dan Warren.

But, they're not the actual data speeds, they vary with distance from the base station and interference. The actual data speeds of 100Mbps are expected by 2010 in Japan and South Korea, with Europe getting 100Mbps wireless data speeds by 2012.
