9.0 Megapixel Camera Module for Mobile Devices. 9.0-Megapixel Camera Module with Autofocus, Shutter & Aperture has recently been launched by Digital Imaging Systems, the DIS6931.

The module provides a complete camera solution comprising a CMOS SOC-camera, an auto-focus lens system (Optics by World Leading Partners for Optic Design), low current actuators, mechanical shutter, aperture and a flex connector. It promises to capture photos up to 3488 x 2616 pixels in size and VGA video at 30 FPS.

This full 9.0- Megapixel format digital camera module is a member of the new family of fully integrated camera modules specially targeted and optimized to support mobile applications which provides DSC-picture quality and functionality. Some mobile devices include: Mobile Phones, Digital Still Cameras, Handheld Games, Portable Devices, and Consumer Products.
