FlyCast Radio Upgrades, Enhancements and Android Support. FlyCast announced several improvements to its service streaming internet radio to mobile devices at CES 2009 in Las Vegas, including a move to the desktop with its new player widget for PCs and Macs.

Other announcements include support for the T-Mobile G1 and other upcoming Android-based handsets, a new “What’s On Now” program guide feature, a Facebook interface, a partnership with AccuWeather.com and support for AAC+ and Windows Media streams.

FlyCast's enhancements:
1. Android/G1 support: FlyCast's free streaming internet radio service, which is currently being used by iPhone, iPod Touch; Blackberry users, will be available for T-Mobile G1 users.
2. The Desktop Player: Beginning immediately, a desktop version for PC & MAC is available for download from FlyCast's main page: www.flycast.fm
3. An upgrade to our program guide: "What's on Now" Feature which allows users to immediately see the popular programs that are currently on air. FlyCast has upgraded the StreamShift feature allowing users to tune into the program at any previous point in the stream.
4. Unlimited song-skipping for over 300 channels.
5.Facebook Connect: Facebook users can sign into FlyCast using their facebook log-in information. These same users have the option of posting their streams to their Facebook page automatically.
6. AccuWeather.com: The FlyCast Main Guide features an automatic link to the user's current local weather information.
7. AAC+, Windows Media Support: FlyCast now offers support to broadcasters that deploy their streams in AAC+ and Windows Media formats.
