Night at the Museum: Battle of the Smithsonian Mobile Game to bereleased by Gameloft

Night at the Museum: Battle of the Smithsonian Mobile Game to be released by Gameloft. Gameloft has announced a licensing agreement with Fox Mobile Entertainment to develop, publish and distribute the official mobile game of the upcoming Fox action adventure-comedy Night at the Museum: Battle of the Smithsonian. The mobile game will be on the market in time for the film's theatrical release on May 22, 2009.

This is Gameloft's second collaboration with Fox Mobile Entertainment, following the release of the mobile game DIE HARD(TM) 4. The original Night at the Museum film was a box office success, grossing over $500 million worldwide. The new mobile title will emulate the film's mix of comedy, action and adventure, bringing to life famous artifacts from the historic institution. The Smithsonian is the world's largest museum complex with more than 136 million items in its collections, ranging from the plane Amelia Earhart flew on her nonstop solo flight across the Atlantic and Al Capone's rap sheet and mug shot to Dorothy's ruby red slippers.
