Helio Ocean 2 now official. The second generation Ocean has officially been debuted by Virgin Mobile USA. The mobile phone comes with a 2.6-inch QVGA (320×240 pixels) screen, dual-sliding mechanism that ensures room for both numeric keypad and QWERTY keyboard. Helio Ocean 2 has 3G enabled (EV-DO), a 2 megapixel camera that can take both photos and videos, built-in GPS receiver along with Google Maps and support for geo-tagging.
There is also a standard 3.5mm headphones jack, microSD expansion slot - included in the package is a 512MB memory card. Interested users will also get pre-installed apps such as media player, IM client, document viewer, email client with Exchange support, social networking software for easy access to Facebook, MySpace, YouTube and Flickr. Helio Ocean 2 goes on sale for $149 on a contract on February 12th.
