China Unicom to launch Alcatel OT-S988W WM smartphone

A Windows Mobile-powered smartphone, the Alcatel OT-S988W, will be launched soon in China, through China Unicom, as par of its new 3G brand called WO. The mobile phone comes with a 3.2 inch touchscreen display with 240 x 400 pixels, 528 MHz Qualcomm CPU, 256MB RAM, 256MB ROM, Wi-Fi, A-GPS, 3.5mm headset jack, Bluetooth 2.1, 110 x 55 x 15.1 mm, and 124 grams. No word on pricing nor the Alcatel OT-S988W might be launched in Europe.
