Good news for netbook users waiting for the Samsung NC10 in the UK, Vodafone UK is the first UK network operator to offer the Samsung NC10 ultra-mobile netbook with built-in mobile broadband connectivity. The netbook is available for Free on Pay monthly plans for £25 on a 24 month contract with 1GB of data. You can also choose a 24 month contract for £30/month with 3GB of data. the Samsung NC 10 netbook has a Vodafone SIM and mobile broadband software pre-installed meaning customers won’t need to use a USB modem to connect to the web.
The Samsung NC10 netbook weighs 1.3kg, comes in black and includes a built-in webcam, a bright 10.2-inch glossy LED display. It features 1.6GHz Intel Atom Processor, WiFi, 3 in 1 memory card reader for simple file sharing, 1GB RAM, Microsoft Windows XP Home Edition SP3, and 3 cell-battery.

But watch out though if you’re considering getting the NC10 package from Vodafone – it only comes with a 3-cell battery unlike the 6 cell version the retail Samsung is packaged with, meaning you will barely get 3 hour’s use unlike the 7+ hours all the reviews rave about and one of the NC10’s strongest selling points. Whilst Vodafone's website now states it is only a 3-cell battery, they are also misleadingly suggesting that it will last the same time as the 6 cell version at 7 hours+. It therefore isn't quite as good a deal as first appears.
