We know that the future of mobile network is about HSPA+ and LTE. Recently, we've heard good news for Japanese mobile users. eMobile - Japan’s fourth largest operator, claims it has Japan's first commercial HSPA+ network, bringing download speeds to 21Mbps. Of course a compatible handset or a USB modem is required to experience the fast speeds. After HSPA+ comes LTE, the carrier also plans to start constructing the new network in 2010.
eMobile has already managed about 15% of the market in Japan, which is not bad, considering they've got to go head-to-head with giants NTT DoCoMo, SoftBank Mobile, and KDDI.
