South Africa's Vodacom, Tracker, and Sierra Wireless have launched a vehicle tracking service in South Africa. Using the inSIM embedded technology developed by Wavecom (part of Sierra Wireless), users will be able track down vehicles on the carrier’s network.
Sierra Wireless' inSIM is a solution which embeds the SIM function into the Wireless CPU at the component level, eliminating the use of the traditional plastic SIM card thus reducing the ability for third parties to tamper with the SIM card.

Does this tracking device allow one to identify where ones vehicle is at any time of the day. As well as giving information as to how far its traveled and the exact address of the vehicle
