Kraft Foods has launched iFood Assistant 2.0 and iFood Assistant LITE for the iPhone in Canada. The iFood Assistant helps consumers find the perfect recipe, create quick and easy shopping lists and get tips for entertaining - all at the tap of a finger. Using the iFood Assistant you will get offline access to Shopping List, Recipe Box, and Daily Recipes. There's also an ability to set alerts for “Recipe of the Day”, “Dinner Tonight” and “Special Offers”.

You can download the iFood Assistant application for iPhone or iPod touch via the iTunes App Store at www.itunes.com/appstore and search for "iFood Assistant," in the lifestyle section. iFood Assistant is available for purchase for $0.99 on the iPhone or iPod Touch. The iFood Assistant LITE for BlackBerry - which offers BlackBerry users a taste of iFood Assistant's basic features including recipes, meal ideas and snack suggestions - can be downloaded at www.blackberry.com/appworld/ in mid-December.
