Mobile Firefox for Maemo RC1 released

Firefox Mobile Release Candidate 1 is now available on Nokia's Maemo mobile platform. If you’ve already got beta 5 installed on your N900 or N810, you will be receiving a software update shortly. Otherwise, if you’re viewing this on your device, you can install it from firefox.com/m.

Built on the same browser engine as Firefox 3.6 for the desktop, the new mobile Firefox comes packed full of your favorite features like the Awesome Bar, Add-ons, Weave Sync and Location-Aware Browsing. Mozilla has also improved text rendering, added new hooks for add-on developers, and continued to polish the application.
