I am new user for blackberry curve 8900 and already updated my software to 4.6.1.378 but i need to updated to 5.0 and stil my subscriber doent have new updated in saudi arabia and my concern is if i download updated OS will i get any debugg or not?

New Firmware version 5.0 on BlackBerry Curve 8900 is not working well. Stend By button will not funksion anymore, battery live is poor, Lock Button Only will lock keybord but it will not show owners Information.
