Rogers SIM Card Visitor Pack for the Vancouver 2010 Olympics

Rogers Wireless has launched a new SIM card “Visitor Pack” for the Olympics available only in the Vancouver area. The new pack costs $29.99, which gives you one GSM SIM card and a $20 prepaid ‘Pay As You Go’ voucher. The voucher can only be activated on any current Pay As You Go plans. This offer could be useful for those having an unlocked GSM phone, you can purchase the Visitor Pack and activate it so you don’t have to buy the SIM and a phone. The 2010 Vancouver Olympics opening ceremonies are on Feb 12th and the games will last until the 28th.

According to mobilesyrup, The carrier and Fido have also dropped the price tags for their SIM cards, and that they are now available for $9.99 and $10.00, respectively (down from $40,00 and $35.00).
