SEGA has announced Sonic the Hedgehog 4 Episode I! The upcoming game will initially be available for PlayStation 3 (PS3), Xbox 360, Wii. The game is a direct sequel to Sonic the Hedgehog 3 and Sonic & Knuckles. Sonic the Hedgehog 4 (codenamed Project Needlemouse) will be released in episodes, the first of which will be released in Summer 2010.

According to SonicStadium, who have found a promo image within the Sonic 4 website, Sonic The Hedgehog 4 is coming to iPhone this summer in July.

Is it really coming on iPhone? If it is, that will totally double the excitement! :) It's already a great news that Sonic is back with an improved gameplay and exceptional graphics. Cheers to Sega!
