Synchronica, the international provider of next generation mobile messaging services, and Korean Device Manufacturer KC Mobile have introduced MessagePhone, a new low-cost messaging device.
MessagePhone comes bundled with a complete suite of infrastructure services providing a comprehensive and affordable mobile messaging and Internet experience for users across Africa, Latin America, Eastern Europe and South-East Asia. The devices unveiled are called MessagePhone QS150 and MessagePhone QS200.
Both MessagePhone QS150 and QS200 come with a 2.2-inch QVGA screen, full QWERTY keyboard, microSD memory card slot, and a battery that delivers enough juice for up to 5.5 hours of talk and up to 17 days of standby time. Both handsets come with Java MIDP 2.0 support, and include pre-installed apps for email (with push support), BOLT Web Browser, IM Client and Social Networking.
MessagePhone QS150 supports GPRS connectivity (tri-band) and VGA camera, while the QS200 supports quad-band and comes with a 1.3MP camera. MessagePhone QS200 sports 32MB user memory, whereas the QS150 only has 10MB of user memory. In addition, the QS200 also sports FM radio, the QS150 doesn't.
