T-Mobile UK and iSkoot trialling social media application

T-Mobile UK and iSkoot have announced that they are trialling iSkoot Notifier, a free social media application that allows customers in the United Kingdom to simplify their mobile social networking with a single app. The iSkoot’s “Notifier” application delivers integrated access to Facebook, MySpace, Twitter & live news feeds.

Notifier provides access to over 50 customer-selected feeds in news, sports and entertainment. Customers can easily view and manage their social networks and news alerts through live feeds and real-time notifications. When customers sign in to Notifier, they can easily view friends' activity, news feeds, status updates and new photos. Customers can directly post new status messages and tweets, send comments and messages, and receive updates from their preferred news sources through a single stream on their mobile phone in real time.

Notifier is one of only a handful of applications that are being offered at the kick-off of T-Mobile UK’s new “T-Mobile Menu” — a new technology that enables T-Mobile to update the Main Menu of a T-Mobile subscriber’s phone remotely.
