"Some exciting Things" coming for BlackBerry Messenger

RIM’s Facebook page has published a note that BlackBerry Messenger will be getting “some exciting things" in the days (and weeks!) ahead.

There are some exciting things coming for BlackBerry Messenger in the days (and weeks!) ahead. Make sure you have the latest version of BBM so that you can be a part of it!

If you already have the latest BBM version, 5.0.0.57, then no update is required.

Not sure what version you have downloaded? Follow these steps to find out:

1. On your BlackBerry home screen go to Options/Setup
2. Select Advance Options
3. Select Applications
4. View the BlackBerry Messenger version

Go to www.blackberry.com/messenger on your device browser to download and install the latest version.
