A new dual SIM phone has been released in India which looks like a dual SIM BlackBerry. This is not from RIM, of course. Dubbed the G-Fone G-588, the mobile phone has a D-pad that’s found in a BlackBerry Curve 8900.
G-Fone G588 has a dual SIM capability that can be used on both GSM and CDMA networks, 1.3MP camera, a 2.2-inch QVGA screen, FM radio, full QWERTY keyboard, and a microSD memory card slot. It also comes with Opera Mini, music player, email application, social networking client powered by Nimbuzz, and an Indian calendar that “serves as a guiding force for the practice of various Hindu rituals and festivals.”
G-Fone G-588 is available for only 4,799 INR which is about $105 via Bright Telecom.
