Microsoft has teamed up with SFR to launch the Messenger Edition 251, a new QWERTY (actually that’s AZERTY) messaging phone that comes pre-installed with Windows Live Messenger.
SFR Messenger Edition 251 also comes with a QVGA touchscreen display, 2MP camera, web browser, music player, FM radio, Bluetooth, and a microSD memory card slot.
The Messenger Edition 251 by SFR costs €79 with “SFR La Carte” prepaid plan, which costs €10 and comes with unlimited SMS and Windows Live messaging for 10 days. Alternatively, you can grab the unlocked Messenger Edition 251 for €109.
For the record, SFR is France’s second largest mobile carrier, after Orange. For more information about the Messenger Edition 251, there’s a dedicated website by Microsoft.
