Makayama has released a new application called ‘multitasking’ for the iPad. The Multitasking iPad app includes three apps in one: Safari webbrowser, Twitter app, and Facebook app. They run at the same time, allowing you to browse the web, while receiving alerts of Twitter and Facebook updates. The browser can work in half or full mode. While in full mode, Twitter and Facebook run in the background, alerting you to updates with sounds. The three apps have all the features you'd expect, like tabbed browsing, favourites, retweets, replies, photo uploads, friends lists, etc.
Multitasking iPad app is available for download $4.99 on the App Store in the Social Networking category.
