NXP Software announces it has joined the Open Handset Alliance. The Open Handset Alliance is a partnership of more than 65 global mobile industry leaders, aimed to accelerate innovation and offer consumers a rich and connected mobile experience.

The 'LifeVibes for Android' portfolio offers differentiating audio, video and voice products for device manufacturers and service providers. LifeVibes brings high quality, state-of-the-art use cases to Android, such as a home cinema surround experience on mobile, and intuitive social media editing and sharing.

LifeVibes for Android software is designed for the latest Android release and can be supplied as turn-key applications as well as Android SDK add-ons for application development.
