Tata Indicom has launched a new dual-mode CDMA/GSM QWERTY phone - the CG588. It isn’t a dual SIM phone but a dual-mode phone. The phone comes with Fly Buzz app, allowing users to stay connected to instant messaging networks as well as social networks such as Facebook and Twitter.
The mobile phone features a full QWERTY keyboard, QVGA screen, 1.3MP camera, FM radio, Bluetooth, media player, 1500mAh battery, 3.5mm headset jack, and a microSD memory card slot (2GB included inside the box). The dual-mode phone costs 4,795 INR which is about $108.
