Samsung has announced another Samsung’s Android-powered tablet in Japan via KDDI. This is not the original Samsung Galaxy Tab which will be released by NTT docomo, but another 7-inch one called Samsung SMT-i9100.
Samsung SMT-i9100 Tablet features Android 2.2 Froyo, 512MB RAM, Wi-Fi 802.11b/g/n, Bluetooth, and MicroSD card support. The KDDI tablet has a 1024 x 600 pixel screen, 4GB of internal memory, 2 megapixels (as opposed to 3.2 of the Galaxy Tab) without front-facing, a Samsung Hummingbird processor, Ocean Observation UI instead of TouchWIZ UI.
Samsung SMT-i9100 Android tablet should be available via KDDI in Japan in 2011.
