Samsung Transform Android phone for Sprint

Sprint has announced a new Android powered device - the Samsung Transform. Designed for heavy text and email users, Samsung Transform features a brilliant 3.5-inch HVGA touch-screen display, full slide-out QWERTY keyboard, 3.2MP rear-facing camera with flash and camcorder and VGA front-facing camera for video conferencing.

Equipped with Android 2.1, Samsung Transform provides access to popular Google mobile services, including Google Search, Google Maps, Gmail and YouTube, and access to more than 80,000 applications available in Android Market. With Sprint ID, users can personalize their phone and get applications, widgets, ringtones and more all at once, in a single download.

For the socially connected, it allows access to social networking sites Facebook, Flickr, and Twitter. Transform operates on the Sprint 3G network (EV-DO Rev. A) and features a powerful processor, access to GPS navigation, Stereo Bluetooth wireless technology, built-in Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g and Visual Voicemail. Transform is available in Black Pearl color.

Sprint Samsung Transform will be available for $150 on contract after rebates on October 10.
