Android 2.2.2 OTA firmware update for Nexus One released

A new OTA (over the air) firmware update has been released for the Google Nexus One. Unfortunately, this is not Android 2.3 Gingerbread, but the new firmware update comes with some “import security updates”. You can get the 558kb update through the settings menu. As always, if you do install, be sure to backup your mobile phone and take all necessary precautions before you start.
