Dell Venue announced - an unlocked GSM Android 2.2 smartphone

Dell has introduced the Venue, Dell’s new unlocked GSM Google Android 2.2 smartphone. The mobile phone reminds us of the Venue Pro, but without a keyboard and it's Android instead of Windows Phone 7. Dell Venue features 8MP camera, a vibrant, high-contrast 4.1-inch AM-OLED display with curved Corning Gorilla Glass, 1 GHz processor. In addition to a full array of entertainment features the Venue also comes fully equipped with today’s necessary business features including support for ActiveSync and QuickOffice. The combination of high speed access and Swype for fast text input makes viewing e-mail, editing documents, and surfing the web fast and easy. As with the Dell Streak 7, Venue offers access to thousands of Android Market widgets, games and applications.
