Angry Birds for Windows Phone 7 and 3D version in development?

Rovio’s Angry Birds game which won two awards at MWC 2011 as the “Best Mobile App” and “App of the Year on the Apple Platform” will be brought to Windows Phone 7 platform according to an interview by Pocket-lint. The developer has also confirmed that it's working on a 3D version of the popular game for compatible devices.

“We’re working on it,” said Rovio’s “Mighty Eagle” Peter Vesterbacka, when we asked him if and when Angry Birds will be available on Windows Phone 7.

“We’ve built a lot of 3D games before, it’s not like it’s a lot of learning in order to recreate the technology with Angry Birds,” said Vesterbacka.
