Samsung Gem Android phone announced by Alltel

Alltel Wireless and Samsung Mobile have announced the availability of a new Android phone, the Samsung Gem. This mobile phone runs on Android 2.1 OS, and comes with a 3.2-inch touchscreen, 800 MHz processor, 3.2MP camera, WiFi, Bluetooth, 124 MB internal memory, microSD expansion up to 16 GB, and also provides built-in Google mobile services including Google Search and Google Maps with turn-by-turn GPS navigation.

Samsung Gem is available at Alltel Wireless for free after a $50 mail in rebate and a two year service agreement.
