Android 2.3 Gingerbread Firmware update for Galaxy S, 2.2 Froyo forI5500 and I5800 coming

Good news Android smartphone owners, Samsung Romania has confirmed on its Facebook account that the Samsung Galaxy S will have Android 2.3 Gingerbread firmware update by the end of this month. The Android 2.2 Froyo software update will also be released for the I5500 by next week whereas I5800 users will get the Android 2.2 firmware by end of this month.
