SanDisk has launched 64 GB microSD card for mobile devices. Boasting transfer speeds up to 30 MB/sec, SanDisk Mobile Ultra microSDXC memory cards should be perfect for the upcoming microSDXC-enabled smartphones and superphones equipped with SDXC-compatible slots. The included SD adapter lets you quickly transfer files from your PC or other SD enabled device. The 64GB SanDisk Mobile Ultra microSDXC memory cards cost $219.99 and will apparently be available next month.
As you may well be aware already, most phones now still use
MicroSDHC. The High-Capacity (SDHC) card family have a capacity of 4 GB to
32 GB microSDHC, while this kind of eXtended-Capacity (SDXC) which was announced in 2009 supports capacity starting above 32 GB with a maximum of 2 terabytes storage capacity.
