Gingerbread update for Motorola Droid R2-D2 coming?

Following on the previous Android 2.3 Gingerbread updates for the Droid 2 and Droid 2 Global, Members of the Motorola Feedback Network community have apparently started receiving emails about a "confidential project for Droid R2-D2 owners." It looks like Motorola now prepares a firmware update for Motorola Droid R2-D2 owners.

For those who haven't yet heard of it, Motorola Droid R2-D2 is a special version of the Droid 2 with Star Wars branding. Aside from a special dock, Droid R2-D2 has similar specs as the original one including a 3.7-inch capacitive touchscreen display, sliding QWERTY keyboard, 1GHz CPU, 3G, Wi-Fi, 5MP camera, and so on.
