China-based handset maker Meizu has unveiled on its forums the upcoming Meizu MX smartphones. There are two variants of the devices, and one of them comes with quad-core processor. Both smartphones will feature 4.0-inch touchscreens with display resolution of 960×640. The dual-core device with 16GB of internal storage will be priced at CNY3,999 (about US$626). While the quad-core model with 32GB of internal storage will cost CNY4,999 (about US$780). Still no word on full specs of the device, but apparently a microUSB port will also be on board and it will have removable back cover. According to the report, the Meizu MX smartphones will be released in China some time late this month.
