Panasonic has officially launched its new Toughbook Android-powered rugged tablet at the DSEi exhibition in London. It has also announced upgrades to its Toughbook laptop range including the 5th generation of its CF-19, 2nd generation of the CF-31, and the all new CF-53.
The Panasonic Toughbook Android Rugged tablet comes with a 10.1-inch XVGA touchscreen, which offers high brightness and is daylight-viewable so that owners can use it in any lighting conditions. It also dispenses with the normal gleaming glass front, and therefore cuts down on reflections. The Android tablet is also equipped with a stylus.
Designed to meet rugged military specifications, the Panasonic Toughbook Android Rugged tablet also comes with satellite-based GPS, full-shift battery life, professional-grade accessories, and built-in 3G mobile broadband connectivity (optional).
