Xperia Ray, Samsung Wave 578 for Orange UK coming

Orange UK is going to launch two smartphones - Sony Ericsson Xperia Ray and Samsung Wave 578.

Android Gingerbread-powered Xperia Ray by Sony Ericsson will be available in either black or white and comes with a 3.3-inch FWVGA screen, 1GHz single-core CPU, 8MP camera with 720p HD video, HSPA, Wi-Fi, GPS, Bluetooth, and a microSD card slot.

Samsung Wave 578 runs on bada platform with NFC capabilities. The phone supports the so called 'Quick Tap' contactless payment technology. Other features the Wave 578 has includes a 3.2-inch WQVGA capacitive touchscreen display, HSDPA, Wi-Fi, 3.2MP rear camera, front-facing VGA camera, and a memory card slot.
