Samsung GALAXY Ace Plus, an enhanced version of the GALAXY Ace

Samsung has announced the Samsung GALAXY Ace Plus, an enhanced version of the GALAXY Ace. Samsung GALAXY Ace Plus runs on Android 2.3 Gingerbread platform and Samsung also provides the device with services that offers a better mobile experience. The GALAXY Ace Plus enables users to stay connected through Samsung’s Social Hub, Music Hub and ChatON services.

Featuring an affordably-sized 3.65-inch HVGA screen with 480 x 320 pixel resolution, the GALAXY Ace Plus cell phone has been designed to be simple yet elegant. It is backed by an impressive 1GHz CPU, HSDPA 7.2 Mbps connectivity, and WiFi 802.11 functionality offers lightning-fast speeds for browsing, downloading and video streaming. The successor to the original Samsung GALAXY Ace, the enhanced version is now faster, even while multitasking.

Other specs included on the the Samsung GALAXY Ace Plus are a 5 MP Auto Focus Camera with LED Flash, a 512 MB of RAM memory, A-GPS, Bluetooth technology v 3.0, USB 2.0, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, multiple sensors such as accelerometer, digital compass, proximity, a Li-ion 1,300 mAh standard battery, and more.

Samsung GALAXY Ace Plus also provides users with a new music playback functionality that features a play progress bar and the ability to view music tracks in folders. Call features allow users to reject calls with text messages or add unwanted callers to a black list log. For added productivity, users also have the option of using ThinkFree, a tool that enables viewing and editing of Office documents, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and PDFs, while on the move.

As you may well be aware already, this mobile phone also supports ChatON, Samsung's own messenger app, connecting all mobile phone users—across any phone platform—into a single community using phone numbers instead of usernames and passwords, provides an easy instant messaging, group chatting and sharing of content in multiple formats—images, video, voice, contacts, calendar—to make messaging simpler and more intuitive than ever.
